Prophets Here On Earth Today

Dear Mother,

Our week was Fantastic!! Truly a miracle filled week. We found seven new investigators this week and we taught a ton of lessons. One of our investigators was unable to come to church this week. On Saturday we found him drunk:( He relapsed but we are heading back over there tonight to help him out. He has a such GOOD heart... and its just a matter of time before he sees the potential his Heavenly Father sees in him!

We are teaching a Salvadorian sister and she came to church this week. She loved it so much! She has a baptismal date for November 9. We also started to teach her son, who is the father of the family she is living with.  When we were teaching him the Restoration... it was amazing to see the message beginning to click in his mind.  He began to realized that God has always called prophets. The Bible teaches that "God is the same yesterday, today, and forever" and so if that is true:  Then would not God still call prophets like Moses, Adam, and Noah! It all is starting to make sence in his mind and he loved it! He also told me that on my last week in Wallace he is going to have a huge barbecue with us! We also taught a ladies children this week. We taught them the Restoration of the Gospel.  All of the family has baptismal dates for sometime in November! It was a super amazing week. I'm beyond grateful! 

The members in Wallace are amazing and so kind! We are really close with the branch president and his son who is the branch mission leader. They are the ones who got me hooked on family history. 

I love being a missionary and being able to share that Christ's church is back on the earth!! It is absolutely AMAZING feeling.  I love every second of it, including the hard times! For that is what causes us to stretch and grow ... to see the tender mercies of The Lord and  in finding those who love their Savior.
