Transfer to Dunn North Carolina

I am heading to Dunn, NC and opening up spanish work and training tomorrow.  It is going to be a long day! The work is progressing and I'm so excited for this new adventure!! 

We had a baptism this week ...it was amazing!  The spirit was so strong and it was amazing to see her take those steps towards baptism.

It was funny because we went over the baptismal questions with her out of the planners ... and the one that she had the most problem with was "If Thomas S. Monson is God's prophet today"? She just didnt know but she was determined to be baptised. So she was praying and reading talks from him and just never recieved an answer.  But as she was walking to the church door for her interview the spirit hit her strongly and said, "Thomas S. Monson is God's chosen prophet." It was amazing! 

I am going to miss Wallace. I have grown quite fond of the members and have made some amazing friends! Wallace was exactly where I was needed to be.  It was where I was suppose to be for the last four and a half months. I have learned a lot and have been happy and grateful to serve there.

Megan's Baptism

"And the first fruits of repentance is baptism; and baptism cometh by faith unto the fulfilling the commandments" -Moroni 8: 25 It was amazing to be able to see and help Megan's testimony grow and to see her "enter in by the way" and be baptized by those who have the authority to do so. It was a fantastic day, congratulations Megan!

Last week in Wallace, North Carolina

I'm glad Cody is alright and those are experiences missionaries pray for! Last Tuesday, I found out I will be getting transfered and opening a new area.  I will open Dunn, North Carolina to spanish work! FUN FUN and I will also be training! I was follow-up training... it just means he just finished being trained. I'm humbled and it is a lot of responsibility to open a new area, but I'm so excited!  My new area is actually in my greenie zone and district.

 I have stayed in the same vicinity my whole mission! Crazy right and by the way that transfer on the 19th ...is my year mark transfer it will be the one I will probably go home on ...just FYI!  But all is well and the Work is good! 

This last week in Wallace we have a baptism.  Couldn't end any better. I'm so grateful for the gospel and the blessings it brings in my life.

Dear Mother,

It was a fantastic week! The Adkins are amazing! Brother Adkins birthday is on the 6th of November so there were two candles! I can hardly believe that I am 20.  Time is flying by so fast. I have learned so much being here in Wallace...  I love it.

This week we had an AMAZING miracle happen. We went to go visit a part member/less active family and began teaching them. The wife is not a member, her name is Megan. We have taught them three times just this week.  She has a baptismal date on the 16th of November. She is doing great and has been taught by the missionaries a lot in the past. She shared a spiritual experience she had.  As she was at her grandfather home waiting for him to pass on, fifteen minutes before he died, she received a distinct impression to do his temple work! She was like... I'm not even a member and don't even understand all that? Then,  the next week two missionaries knocked on their door!! I'm so grateful that families can be together through. Heavenly Father's Plan. She feels it was a true miracle and she has a baptismal interview for this Saturday. 

We also have been teaching Elvis. He even came to church this week! He has a baptismal date on the 30th of November. He is doing great and really believes that this is Christ's church. It was amazing!
